Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: We accept all major credit cards for payment at time of service or over the phone if needed. We also invoice monthly through email or USPS.


Q: What happens if I'm renting a home on Chebeague and have a plumbing need?

A: Homeowners need to provide ALL RENTERS their policy for repairs on their homes. NO WORK, EVEN EMERGENCIES WILL BE CONDUCTED WITHOUT FULL PERMISSION FROM HOMEOWNERS WHO HAVE TO CONTACT US DIRECTLY TO AUTHORIZE ANY WORK.


Q: Does Rich Plumbing offer payment plans?

A: We offer payment plans on a case by case basis and are allowed as determined by owners. 1/3 of the balance must be paid prior to approval and additional fees will apply.


Q: What are your hourly rates?

A: As of Jan. 1, 2021 regular business hours:

  • $85 per hour.

  • After 5:00pm on weekdays $100 per hour.

  • Weekend rates: $125.

  • Holiday rates: $150 per hour.


Q: Is my water safe to drink?

A: Testing your water is the only way to determine if your water is safe. We can collect a sample to send to local testing facilities.


Q: How long can I safely stay in my home or cottage without having pipes freeze?

A: Each home is unique with different piping exposure, as well as unpredictable weather patterns. Don’t risk it if you’re not sure. Contact us if you have concerns.


Q: If I can't get a hold of anyone immediately at Rich Plumbing Inc., should I stop by your residence with my plumbing needs?

A: No, we have an order of operations for plumbing needs and will return your call as expeditiously as possible.
